(Web Desk) – Gearing up for the general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf held a massive political gathering at the Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on Sunday.
With thousands of workers in attendance, the jalsa is being viewed as PTI’s show of strength in Lahore – the political hub of the ruling PML-N, right before elections. The top tier leadership of the party was present at the gathering where the party chief Imran Khan delivered a long speech detailing not just his professional, personal and political struggles but also presenting his 11-point agenda.
Prior to the 2013 elections, the party had staged a similar political gathering at the Minar-e-Pakistan which had also drawn huge crowds.
